Many characters have shown incredible strength in the face of the difficult situations they find themselves in. Some characters have proven to be stronger than others, but each character has a certain strength.

ten Hatori was forced to erase his fiancee’s memories from him

Hatori Sohma was calm and reserved. He worked as a Sohma family doctor and was also a member of the Zodiac. Her parents weren’t very affectionate. His mother died when he was a child and his father died when he was in high school.

Hatori’s life was loveless until he met Kana. When he approached Akito to marry Kana, Akito attacked him. Kana blamed herself for Hatori’s injuries, and Hatori was forced to break up with Kana and erase her memories. It took a lot of strength for Kana to forget about it.

9 Kisa stopped talking because she was bullied

Zodiac tiger

Kisa Sohma was born as a zodiac tiger. She was one of the youngest members of the zodiac. After Akito discovered his relationship with Hiro, Akito attacked the young girl. As a result, Hiro began to ignore him.

Kisa had been tortured by her classmates because of her odd color of hair and eyes. The constant torture of her classmates made her incredibly sad. Every time she tried to speak, they started laughing at her. As a result, she stopped talking but was able to overcome these obstacles thanks to Tohru’s influence.

8 Kazuma raised the outcast family

Kyo's father

Kazuma Sohma was Kyo’s adoptive father. Her grandfather had been the zodiac cat before Kyo. As a child, Kazuma had treated his grandfather badly. Growing up, he would have come to regret the treatment he had reserved for his father.

His training in martial arts allowed him to become an expert in the family. He continued to teach many younger generations. When Kazuma decided to adopt Kyo, he had a lot of problems with the family. Many people tried to persuade him to give up on Kyo, but he refused to give up on the boy.

7 Kagura’s strength comes from his status as a boar

Waving kagura

Kagura Sohma was born with the curse of the boar. She grew up in a happy family, with parents who loved her very much. His status as a boar gave him a lot of physical strength.

Her emotions seem to help fuel her outbursts of strength, but as a boar she also experiences moments of extreme stubbornness. Her stubbornness combined with her strength has helped her overpower Kyo on several occasions.

6 Hana had been brutally harassed by former classmates

Tohru's friend

Saki Hanajima was better known by her nickname, Hana. She has an affinity for black and was born with the power to influence electronic waves. Her power labeled her as a witch and people treated her as an outcast.

By the time Hana met Arisa and Tohru, she had endured a lot. Her former classmates had brutally harassed and attacked her, but she had grown used to being alone. She had to get tough to endure the torments she had suffered in the past.

5 Momiji was completely rejected by his mother

Momiji Sohma was born as the Zodiac Rabbit. His cheerful demeanor contrasts somewhat with his dark past. As a child, his mother rejected him completely and his memories were altered in order to forget him.

Momiji must have grown up on the outside looking inside. He was never able to form a relationship with his mother and had to watch his sister grow up from afar. He had to survive the abandonment of his family.

4 Tohru suffered a lot after losing his mother

Akito has promised to let him join the Zodiac if he manages to defeat Yuki and Akito constantly challenges Yuki in various competitions but never manages to win.

Despite his immense martial arts training, he never won. His history with his parents made him emotionally strong. When he witnessed the death of Tohru’s mother, he ended up blaming himself. Him overcoming the pain of his past shows his great inner strength.

1 Yuki has a natural affinity for combat

Yuki Sohma was born the rat. He experienced poor health in his childhood which still affects him sometimes in adulthood. To gain power, his parents gave it to Akito. He was treated badly while living with the head of the family, but eventually achieved great emotional strength.
