The 11th Annual Health, Wellness and Lifestyle Expo 2022, with special thanks to exclusive healthcare partner Stamford Health, returns Saturday, September 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Harbor Point, La beautiful waterfront community of Stamford.

As Connecticut’s largest health show, this family and pet-friendly event is ONE DAY ONLY and packed with multiple zones, free fitness classes, and more than 100 exhibitors showcasing and selling health products and services. and well-being.
One of the highlights of the HWL Expo is the dance and fitness zone sponsored by Sacred Heart University, which offers free classes in yoga, dance, martial arts and fitness. Led by the best fitness instructors in the area, including the always entertaining Billy Blanks, Jr.. from Dance it Out, seen on Lifetime Television. All levels and abilities are encouraged to join in the fun and pre-register for classes.
The Pet Zone at HWL Expo, sponsored by Cornell University Veterinary Specialists, will showcase companion animal welfare. Pets Make Life Better sponsor, Safari Stan’s Pet Center will be on hand with the very latest in pet products. Pet owners are encouraged to put their pets in the spotlight during the “Spot On Fitness Pet Parade” (12:30 p.m.) produced by Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel in Stamford.
Quench your appetite and thirst in the Healthy Food & Beverage Zone where you can indulge in an array of cuisines from the area’s top healthy food trucks, sample healthy food and beverages from progressive brands and local restaurants, and sample environmentally friendly wine, spirits and craft beers. Grade A Sustaining Sponsor ShopRite will be giving away flu shots from their pharmaceutical team, express nutrition consultations with their registered dietitians, live healthy cooking demonstrations and a raffle to win a Bowl-branded gift basket & ShopRite Grade A Healthy Food Basket.
This year’s Kids Zone is sponsored by Nickelodeon’s Noggin and features face painting, games, educational activities and fitness classes for kids with My Gym Stamford. The Touch-A-Truck Kids Zone presented by the Stamford Police and Fire Department, Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit and SWAT Team will add excitement.
Each year, this event will bring together fitness enthusiasts of all levels to raise funds for those in need. This year’s event will benefit the humanitarian efforts of the National Ukrainian Women’s League of America (unwla.org) and Revived Soldiers Ukraine (rsukraine.org).
Contests include MOST CHIN UPS, MOST PUSH UPS, LONGEST PLANK and GLOBAL BEST combining all three. Test your skills, compete for great prizes, enter the raffle or just cheer on the contestants! Minimum donation of $25 to participate in the prizes. Each prize competitor receives a goody bag and 10 Lift It Forward Wellness Hamper raffle tickets. Competition: 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
