Visitors can make their way through the food court with ice cream, funnel cakes, pecan pie, fried desserts, fried fries, okra, burgers, barbecue, porc-a- bobs, boudain balls, nachos, pistols, breakfast foods and more. Then you can wash it down with some freshly squeezed homemade lemonade and flavored teas.

Treasure hunt
From Monday, November 1, the 2021 Groves Pecan Festival scavenger hunt will begin. Clues will appear on the âGroves Pecan Festivalâ Facebook page at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. If necessary, bonus hints for the golden pecans will be broadcast the next day at 7 p.m.
The bonus hints for the grand prize will be published at 8 p.m. on Saturday and at noon on Sunday if necessary.
Hunters can find daily golden pecans valued at $ 50 (Monday through Thursday) and there will be a grand prize of $ 400.
This year’s sponsor will once again be Levingston Funeral Home.
The treasure is hidden within the city limits of Groves and destruction of property is not necessary to find it. The treasure is NOT located in the Horseshoe Pit or CELEBRATION PARK, located at the corner of Lincoln Ave. and Coolidge.
All the treasures are on a property accessible to the public.
If you think you’ve found the golden pecan and / or the grand prize, post the confirmation code on the Facebook page for the find to be confirmed. Then you will need to bring it to the Groves Room office at 4399 Main Ave. Monday to Thursday, or at the Chamber of Commerce booth on the festival grounds from Friday to Sunday to receive your prize.
Every effort will be made to notify treasure hunters as soon as possible via Facebook that a treasure has been found.
ALL Golden Pecans and / or the Grand Prize that has NOT been returned to the Groves Chamber of Commerce by 6:00 p.m. Sunday WILL BE DECLARED VOID.
For more information about the festival, call the Groves Chamber of Commerce at (409) 962-3631.
