FAKE DRAFT ROUNDUP 8.0 | Players the Bucs could take at 27

The 2022 NFL Draft is just three weeks away, and the league’s entire draft needs are in focus. With the 27th pick in this year’s draft, the Bucs will once again have the luxury of choosing a player based on their wants rather than their needs.

After a flurry of free agent signings, the Bucs added depth, versatility and fired some of their key players. There are still questions to be answered on the defensive line, including whether cornerstone Ndamukong Suh will return for the 2022 season. With tight end Rob Gronkowski status also in limbo, draft pundits see the Buccaneers adding a tight end in the first round.

The draft pundits are starting to go in several different directions for the Buccaneers in the first round. Could the Buccaneers get a first-round star from Washington again? It worked well with defensive tackle Vita Vea and passing thrower Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. Good Morning Football analyst Peter Schrager predicts the Bucs will take cornerback Kyler Gordon from Washington, who has incredible athleticism and polished technique.

Not a single draft pundit agrees on who the Bucs will take in this week’s draft simulation. See below for a full list of potential expert picks from across the league.
