CITY OF LOUISVILLE. THERE ARE MANY EVENTS OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND INCLUDING SEA FISHERMEN, HIKING, BIKE AND PADDLE. IT’S READY FOR MONDAY AT THE LOUISVILLE COMMUNITY BOATHOUSE ON THE ROAD. THIS YEAR’S EVENT INCLUDES FOUR HIKING ROUTES, INCLUDING ONE CROSSING THE BIG FOUR BRIDGE. Hike, Bike & Paddle returns to Louisville for its 18th year

Many events take place over the holiday weekend, including Mayor GegFischer’s bike and paddle. It is scheduled for Monday at the Louisville Community Boathouse on River Road. This year’s event features four hiking routes, including one that crosses the Big Four Bridge. The bike route is 18.2 miles along River Road. Paddlers will travel five miles downstream to the Shawnee boat launch. Starting at 8 a.m., the event will feature demonstrations and group participation in yoga, tai chi, and zumba. Participants are encouraged to bring water, as there will be no water stations this year. .
