Holiday Craft Show scheduled for December 4 at the senior center

Hello Manistee County! Boy, the weather has really kept me on my toes this week. I don’t know what comes next. I’m afraid it’s really snowing. We have so many leaves in our neighborhood and we all ran in multiple directions at my house, we haven’t made it yet. I hope it will last at least a week or two.
Everything at the Senior Center went well. It’s nice to hear the people and the laughter.
I’ve been in and out lately. One of my family members got really sick and you know it was so scary. I’m generally very good at dealing with a lot of stress, but it was more difficult.
When the doctor said âhe was lucky he was still alive,â I realized I needed to be there with him. I needed to stay focused and be present at all times to help in any way, wipe away my tears and listen to so many doctors explaining so many complicated scenarios as to why all these things were happening and what they were going to. do to try to work things out.
My loved one went to the hospital by ambulance which meant they took him straight to an emergency room which was lucky because a few weeks ago he sat in the emergency room. ‘waiting for emergencies for more than five hours before being put in a room.
You know it’s all over the news, the shortage of hospital beds and the shortage of hospital staff, but until you’re in a hospital you don’t feel how bad it really is. . Personally, I have seen what this pandemic does to families who should be together when someone is very sick in the hospital. It made me think about the importance of the vaccine and how I would like more people to receive it. I repeat, this is not a political decision, it is a human decision.
We have a huge holiday craft show taking place on Saturday December 4th at the Wagoner Community Center. Put it on your calendars so you can come in and see all the great craftsmen who will be here. We also have our Jingle Bell Ball coming up on Friday December 10th. We have a delicious meal prepared by Jerry Zupin and music by Butch Baker and the Just 4 Fun Band.
