Just Older Youths: January Events, Resources for Seniors

Hot meals: Reservations must be made before 9:00 a.m. by calling the COA at 231-972-2884. Suggested donation: $ 3.
- Mecosta Meal Site: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Activity Center, 12954 80th Ave., Mecosta.
- Barryton Meal Site: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays at the Barryton Senior Building, 71 Northern Ave., Barryton.
Meals on wheels: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Hot midday meals delivered to the doorstep of homebound seniors in Mecosta County. Suggested donation: $ 3 for seniors, $ 5 for non-seniors.
Eating and reheating meals: Frozen meals available Monday through Friday. Call 231-972-2884 to pre-order.
Activities: Call 231-972-2884 to register.

Hot lunch: At noon Monday to Thursday, both in person and curbside collection and in person. Call 231-734-5559 no later than 12:30 p.m. the day before to reserve a spot. Suggested donation: $ 2 per meal, $ 5.85 for children under 60.

Potluck: 11:30 am the first Wednesday of each month
Table games: Fun Bingo on Wednesdays at noon; Euchre on Thursday noon; Regular bingo on Friday noon (doors open at 10:30 a.m., with early risers at 11:30 a.m.)
Barryton Seniors Center
Swiss steak dinner: 4 pm-6.30pm on the last Friday of each month from April to October. Includes dessert.
