RAPID CITY, SD – The Rapid City Parks and Recreation Department has released the Fall 2022 Program Guide online and it provides information on many activities, leagues and classes for the upcoming fall season.

Activities outlined in the guide include figure skating and hockey activities at the Roosevelt Ice Arena, as well as youth recreational programs like youth flag football and tennis lessons for juniors and adults. The guide also includes information on fall outdoor activities, including disc golf, mountain biking, trails, hiking, and biking opportunities.

The Roosevelt Swim Center’s aquatics division will offer swimming lessons and programs for youth and adults in the fall, aquatic exercise classes, water polo and scuba diving programs. The range of fall programs also includes Red Cross health and safety courses, lifeguard and babysitter training, and CPR programs.

The guide details class times for a number of programs in the multipurpose room at the Roosevelt Swim Center, including fitness, yoga, fencing, and tai chi classes.

“The Fall Guide is a unique online opportunity to view the dozens of programs, activities and classes available this fall and through the winter months,” said Lindsey Myers of the Department of Parks and Recreation. “There are a number of great options for people of all ages to enjoy and experiment with. We invite everyone to consult the online guide for important information on facilities and programs. »
