One of my favorite golf scrambles returns later this year with more places available for you and your team to get involved, plus a brand new location to play.

The annual Easterseals Golfing Fore Kids event is scheduled for Thursday, September 1 (2022) at the Cambridge Golf Course in northern Vanderburgh County, just off Volkman Road near the Indiana State Police Station on Highway 41.

You’re probably thinking, “September is still months away, why open registrations now?” That’s an excellent question. Luckily, it comes with a great answer.

Not one, but two gunshots

For the first time in a few years, this year’s event will once again feature a morning and afternoon shotgun start instead of the one that started around mid to late morning. This gives the rehab center the opportunity to open up more slots for teams who might have wanted to participate in the past, but couldn’t because they couldn’t be in class at the time. -the.

Morning tee time is 8:00am for those who can get there early and like to be able to play 18 holes and then still have the rest of the day to do other things.

The afternoon re-start will begin at 1:00 p.m. for those who may need to report to the office before finishing their day on the course.

How to register

Team registration is $650 for a team of four and $160 for people who want to play but don’t have three other people to join. If you register as an individual, you will be paired with other individual registrants or placed on a team that may have fewer than four players for one reason or another.
